HealthViewer can connect directly to your health system’s patient portal using the FHIR standard, pulling lab results without needing a PDF at all.
Supported Systems

Refreshing Data
Section titled “Refreshing Data”After the initial connection, you can re-import to pick up new results. Go to Import → Connect Health System, find your connected system, and click Sync.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”My health system isn’t listed Try searching by hospital name, city, or parent network. If still not found, your health system may not expose a public FHIR endpoint. Use the PDF upload path instead.
Authorization fails or times out Make sure you’re using your patient portal credentials (not employee/provider credentials). Some systems require you to have an active MyChart account — register at your health system’s patient portal first.
Results are missing or incomplete FHIR availability varies by health system. Some labs may only be available in older PDF exports. Try downloading a PDF from your portal and uploading it to capture any gaps.
