HealthViewer is a lab results tracker for Mac and Windows. It imports the lab reports you already have, charts every test over time, and keeps your medications, vaccinations, procedures, and notes next to your results. All of it lives in one encrypted file on your own computer.
Most people see their lab results one report at a time, in whichever portal the ordering doctor happens to use. A single value inside a reference range tells you very little. The same test tracked across years, across every lab and every doctor, tells you a lot. That view is hard to build by hand, and the cloud services that offer it want your health history on their servers.
HealthViewer was built to give you that long view without the trade. It runs on your desktop, works offline, and never sends your data anywhere unless you explicitly connect a patient portal or turn on an optional AI feature with your own API key.
HealthViewer is made by Firebird Systems, a small independent software company.
HealthViewer comes from long familiarity with managing complex chronic conditions. That means several specialists, each ordering their own labs in their own system. It means results arriving in different portals, in different formats, sometimes with different units for the same test. For years the only way to see the whole picture was a spreadsheet: copying values in by hand after every draw, keeping medication changes in another tab, and still struggling to stay on top of it all before the next appointment. HealthViewer is the tool built to replace that spreadsheet.
Firebird Systems also makes Chickadee Bandit, a cloud home for your household. HealthViewer is the opposite kind of product on purpose: health data is the one category where we think the right default is local, encrypted, and under your control.
HealthViewer is sold as a one-time purchase, with a free trial first. There is no subscription, no free tier funded by data, and no advertising. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which shares only your name and email address with us so we can fulfill your order and provide support. That is the only personal information we ever hold.

Lab report PDFs from Quest, LabCorp, Mayo, and major hospital portals, CSV exports, CDA and FHIR health record exports, and direct connections to Epic MyChart, Oracle Health, athenahealth, and eClinicalWorks where your practice supports it. The supported formats page lists what is parsed automatically.
