Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before purchasing or using HealthViewer ("the App"). By purchasing a license or installing the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the App.
Upon purchase, Firebird Systems ("we," "us," or "our") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use HealthViewer on your personal devices for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
HealthViewer and all content, features, code, design, trademarks, and intellectual property within it are and remain the exclusive property of Firebird Systems. These Terms grant you a limited license to use the App; they do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Firebird Systems.
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase or use HealthViewer. By installing or purchasing the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you may not use the App.
HealthViewer includes a 7-day free trial beginning on the date you first install and launch the App. No payment is required to start the trial.
During the trial period you have access to the full functionality of the App. At the end of the 7-day trial:
The free trial is available once per device. Reinstalling the App does not reset the trial period.
Upon purchase you will receive a license key to activate the App. License keys are personal and non-transferable. You may not share, sell, publish, or give your license key to any other person.
Firebird Systems reserves the right to deactivate any license key that is found to be shared, used on an unreasonable number of devices, or obtained fraudulently, without refund.
Merchant of Record: All purchases of HealthViewer are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. By completing a purchase, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service and applicable policies. Your payment information is collected and handled solely by Lemon Squeezy — Firebird Systems does not receive or store your payment details.
License fees are charged at the time of purchase. Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout and are collected by Lemon Squeezy.
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your original purchase date, no questions asked. To request a refund, contact us at:
Refund requests made after 14 days of purchase are not eligible and will not be honored except where required by applicable law.
Effect of refund: Upon issuance of a refund, your license to use HealthViewer is immediately and automatically terminated. You must uninstall all copies of the App from your devices.
Because Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all HealthViewer purchases, all billing disputes, chargebacks, and payment-related issues must be directed to Lemon Squeezy. Firebird Systems does not have access to your payment information and cannot process billing disputes directly.
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact Lemon Squeezy support or HealthViewer support so we can attempt to resolve the issue. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting support may result in immediate license termination.
Your license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically, without notice, if you:
Upon termination for any reason, you must uninstall all copies of the App. Termination does not entitle you to a refund beyond the 14-day refund window described above.
Important: HealthViewer parses lab results from PDFs and other documents using automated text extraction. This process is not perfect. Parsed values, units, reference ranges, and test names may contain errors, omissions, or misreadings. Always verify imported data against your original source documents.
Firebird Systems makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of any data imported, parsed, or displayed by the App. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of your health data and for any decisions made based on information shown in the App.
HealthViewer is a personal data organization tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the App should be interpreted as a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health-related decisions.
HealthViewer is a personal-use desktop application. Firebird Systems is not a HIPAA-covered entity and is not a Business Associate as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The App is not designed, certified, or intended for use in any clinical, professional, or institutional healthcare setting, and does not provide HIPAA-compliant data storage or processing.
All health data you enter or import into the App is stored locally on your device in an encrypted file. Firebird Systems does not receive, process, or store your health data.
HealthViewer is designed to keep your health data entirely on your device. The App does not transmit your health data to any external server. For full details on what information is and is not collected, see our Privacy Policy.
When you purchase the App, Lemon Squeezy collects the information necessary to process your transaction (name, email, payment details) in accordance with their privacy policy.
The App may be subject to United States export control laws and regulations. By downloading or using the App, you represent and warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to a US government embargo or designated by the US government as a "terrorist-supporting" country, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIREBIRD SYSTEMS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs. You assume all risk associated with using the App to store or interpret health-related data.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIREBIRD SYSTEMS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates included within your license tier will be provided at no additional charge. We reserve the right to modify features, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after a change to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Firebird Systems regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings relating to the same subject matter.
Waiver: Failure by Firebird Systems to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
